Thank you to all of our wonderful speakers and to everyone who participated in our virtual 2020 Mini Medical School for Teachers!
The UF Medical Guild and UF CPET hosted a virtual Mini Medical School for Teachers four-part webinar series for educators on Virology and Immunology: understanding how viruses work and the human immune system response. This was an opportunity for secondary science, health, and vocational teachers to broaden their understanding of the basic biomedical concepts that underlie the current research on COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, therapies, and preventions and bring back this knowledge to their classrooms. If you were unable to attend, recordings of the webinars are now available below.
UF CPET has started a list of online Mini Medical Education Tools and Resources on a shareable Google document. This is an opportunity for educators to share ideas, tools, and resources for the science classroom. Please feel free to contribute your ideas, thoughts, and other helpful resources. Let's support and learn from one another!
Recordings of the webinars including the Q&A session that followed are available below
After viewing the webinars please take a few minutes to complete our EVALUATION!
