UF Chemical Engineering Workshop For Teachers
When: Friday, November 14, 2025, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Join us for an engaging, hands-on workshop designed for educators passionate about using sustainable engineering to overcome grand challenges in society such as clean energy, accessible water, human health, and much more. Explore innovative teaching strategies, real-world case studies, and interactive activities that bring these critical topics to life in the classroom. Collaborate with fellow educators, gain fresh insights, and leave with ready-to-use resources to inspire the next generation of engineers to tackle global challenges.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
- STEM educators at the secondary level interested in learning about application of fundamental Physics and Chemistry concepts to engineering and technology
- Attendance is limited to the first twenty (20) applicants
WHY ATTEND?
- Learn about Chemical Engineering and its important role in society
- Participate in hands-on activities that can be incorporated into your courses and tailored to the interests and needs of your students
- Receive 0.5 hours of Continuing Education credits (0.5 CEU)
